Georgia Knapp is an essayist, playwright, and freelance writer. She earned a BA in English from Kalamazoo College (Michigan, USA) and an MFA in Creative Writing from Georgia College & State University (Georgia, USA). She never stops moving and has lived in a wide range of places including Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, Colorado's Rocky Mountains, a barrier island off the coast of Georgia, and Scotland's Granite City. While pursuing writing she has supported herself as a National Park Ranger, Holiday Inn front desk agent, Literature teacher, point-of-contact for 15,000+ marketing students, a shuttle driver for Chicago theaters, an accident prone Caribou Coffee barista, and, most recently, a literature teacher for 100+ unruly Thai boys in Bangkok, Thailand.
She currently lives in Portugal.
